Kelsey Moore
counselor trainee; (sHE/Her)
I believe that my role as your counselor is to help you explore what a fulfilling life means to you, and together we will work to empower you to move toward that ideal.
I take a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy, acknowledging that while our past informs our present, we hold the power to shape our future. I am committed to being a culturally competent counselor, and I believe that the best growth is achieved when the entire context of the person, their culture, and their lived experiences is honored. Through exploration of your values, your past, your thought and behavioral patterns, and ideal outcomes we will work together to shed what doesn’t serve you and move into a life where you call the shots.
I work well with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and those who are wanting to gain insight into their thought patterns and behaviors. I also love to work with couples who are feeling disconnected and would like help rediscovering their connection with themselves as individuals within a relationship.
Whether you are seeking growth individually or as part of a couple, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to better self-understanding, empowerment, and values-based living.
