Tyler Lehman
counselor trainee; (HE/Him)
I value therapy that balances compassion, honesty, and practical support to help people navigate real-life challenges in a way that feels manageable.
My approach to therapy is grounded in collaboration and a belief in the human capacity to change. I believe clients should feel supported while also having control over the direction and pace of therapy. My role is not to make decisions for you or tell you who to be, but rather to engage with you in a therapeutic process tailored to your unique goals.
I use evidence-based practices to help clients better understand the web of relationships between their values, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences. These approaches help clients improve emotional awareness, process difficult experiences, break patterns that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier coping strategies. If you are looking for a committed counselor who will meet you where you are and work with you through life’s challenges, I invite you to reach out.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy being active, fly fishing, playing guitar, and watching movies.
